The one thing I always find with Italian eats is that there always seems to be more than one course, where here in Australia, if I was cooking your pasta that would be it, other than perhaps being accompanied by a salad and garlic bread. I reckon if I lived in Italy I would be twice my size lol….
Hi Sally, thanks for your comment! Even though I like to present an entire meal according to the tradition, we actually never eat a multicourse meal unless we have guests. It's either pasta or rice or another carb with a sauce and a salad or a second course with a side dish and generally fruit for dessert. That's how I still go through the doors LOL!
It is interesting how people dine on other countries. Years ago when we had dinner parties there would be befores and three courses plus cheese and biscuits, not forgetting chocolates . Now it is befores, a main course and dessert, and if I remember a bowl of chocolates
