Hello my friends, don’t you all need a little comfort at the end of the day? Right now I am baking as often as I can, testing new recipes and revisiting regional classics.
These are delightful cookies from Sicily, perfectly crisp and fragrant, with a hint of bright orange zest and a deliciously nutty sesame seed coating.
Good quality flour and your favorite brown sugar plus the zest of very fresh orange really make a difference. Enjoy with a hot drink or, for the full Italian experience, a glass of Vinsanto or Passito wine.
